Our opinion

The Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer is the top of the “Endurance” range and classified as a light commercial crosstrainer. So it’s suitable for use in low volume traffic gyms, such as hotels and offices or for the most demanding home user. The first thing you notice with the C85 is the size of it compared to other models. It’s noticeably bigger and this is something to bear in mind when considering which model to purchase. The advantage of size is that the operation is brilliant as the flywheel is heavier and the stride is longer. It really compares favorably with some other full commercial machines we have tested. 

The Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer has some excellent features such as the buttons on the moving handles which allow you to navigate the console whilst exercising, and adjust the resistance of your program whilst working out. We have found that you do not really appreciate this feature until you go back to a model without it and get frustrated that there is no on the fly adjustment. The console on the C85 is fantastic; it is extremely clear and easy to navigate being that it is a full colour 7 inch LCD display. There is a jog wheel below the screen (like on the newer BMW's) which you use to navigate through the menu. Once you’ve found the program you want you simply push the button of the jog wheel it’s so simple and it looks great.

The Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer has a wide program choice including the T-Trainer which is highly motivational, and the excellent T-road simulator program which synchronises with your exercise rate so that as you increase your pace then you move along the path quicker. Warranty

The Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer light commercial crosstrainer has an excellent 20 year frame and motor warranty and all other components are covered with a 3 years parts and 2 years on site labour warranty. Upon receipt of your –enter product name – you can register the product directly with Tunturi, free of charge, and qualify for an additional years parts warranty. Meaning you have 4 years warranty cover on all components, providing peace of mind.

 In a light commercial environment the Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer has an 18 months parts and labour warranty on the frame and all the components. The Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer is designed to be used for up to 5 hours a day and so is ideal for hotel, office and physiotherapy gyms.  If you’re looking for a top quality home crosstrainer then the light commercial status reflects the high quality of the Tunturi C85 Front Driven Crosstrainer.
